If you are a new member of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce, a new employee of a member business or an existing member who would like a refresher on the benefits of partnering with the Hayward Chamber of Commerce you are invited to attend a Membership Orientation. The meeting will take place at 4:00pm, prior to the start of the mixer at 5:00pm.

We’ll keep it brief but will cover the following important topics:

• The Chamber’s role in the community, our purpose and how we work on improving the climate for business so you can focus on yours.
• The benefits of membership: marketing support, networking opportunities, affiliate groups and professional development.
• Overview of the GRC and PAC and how they influence City Hall’s activities and who gets elected.
• Networking 101: Tips on getting the most from networking events.
